That’s about the time taken to modified this blog.

After installing problems were solved, and  posted my first entry, I spent the next six hours just to make this blog more appealing and full of life. Darn, I forgot to take screen shots of before and after. Well, never mind. There’s always Adobe Photoshop to create before and after images.

First I added all the widget that I usually use. Mybloglog, meta tags, feedburner, sidebar widgets, etc… I’ve also added  translation widget so it can reach non English readers. I’ve placed it under each post I make for conveniences. It looks cool to me.

After that, I added Google’s Adsense.  A must have for an amateur, semi-pro and pro blogger. Like they say ” monetize your blog”. I’ve placed it just under the header.  One of the hotspots for adsense ads.

Then I added feedburners feed subscriber, so anyone who reads what I’ve written and find it interesting, can subscribe for latest updates. If you like what I’ve written, you can subscribe by clicking here.

I’ve also added google search bar on the top right, so visitors can search for anything without leaving the this blog. It was very tedious to intergrate this blog with the search bar. I had to place the code in the right place so it would blend in.

The last part of modifying this blog was adding the “Home” navigation link. There isn’t a link back to the main page when you click on the other pages. So I had to add the code myself.

There’s still a few more things I want to add. But that will come later.
