This is what I’ve created from Web 2.0 Layer Styles for Adobe Photoshop plugin that I downloaded yesterday.
It took me only 10 minutes just to create them. A real Time saver.
What is it? It’s my official and personal logo that I used on my company.
What does it mean? It’s a combination of letters. “R” and “F”.
Why “R” & “F”? . It’s The First letter of my name, “R”ammel “F” irdaus.
You guys might be thinking why I have a pink background on one of my logo? It one of my Avatars on a forum that I joined. I like to blend in to the backgroud so it will look like it’s floating on the screen.
I’ve been using this logo since the first time I made my first multimedia presentation. That was about 9 years ago. This is the latest design. Specially created for Web2.0 theme. Not to different from the previous design. It’s still the same. You can refer my previous post to compare the design.
Creating a logo it’s like branding yourself. It’s not that hard to create one. All you need is a sketch book or a piece of paper (preferable more than 10), A pencil and a hand. :D. That is how I made mine 9 years ago.
How to generate ideas for creating a Logo? I stated out by brainstorming things that I like that relates to me. While I was brainstorming, I scribble a few images on the paper. I created lots of design, but they all look terrible. So I refer a few designs that already out there to get more ideas.
I found tones of nice logo designs, but ones that strikeout the most for me are Alphanumeric designs. So I began sketching out a few logos using my name. But it didn’t look right cause my name is to long. So I took The First Letters of my name and combine it.
Thus the logo was created. a Combination of R and F. If you want a good tip on logo design, you can go to http://www.davidairey.com/logo-design-tips/. This blog Which I found a few days ago has lot’s of interesting tips on creative design, blog by David Airey, an Irish from a small town of Bangor, Northern Ireland.
