When I have nothing to do in front of the computer, I stumble, stumble and stumble. That’s what I do.

It’s one of the best web2.0 social sites from my opinion. It’s the best way to waste time in front of your PC or Mac. To tell you the truth, I can do it for hours, discovering new sites that are discovered by other stumblers.

While stumbling, I found this site which has a good definition of StumbleUpon,for those who hasn’t the slightest Idea what it does, or you can check out wikipedia definition of StumbleUpon.

While at it, visit this blog to read a few more articles about StumbleUpon (which I also found out by stumbling). I suggest you read this article “When you link to me, nice things happen“. This article is about a quick bump of traffic from Stumblers who have weight power in bringing traffic.

I’m gonna follow his advice. Stumble people that link’s to this blog. If you want a backlink from this blog an get stumbled, just link to this post with the anchor text “What Is SumbleUpon”.

Submit your articles to EzineArticles.com. This is another tip that doesn’t bring in hundreds of new visitors immediately (although it can if you keep doing it) but it’s worthwhile because you simply leverage what you already have - your pillar articles. Once a week or so take one of your pillar articles and submit it to Ezine Articles. Your article then becomes available to other people who can republish your article on their website or in their newsletter.

How you benefit is through what is called your “Resource Box”. You create your own resource box which is like a signature file where you include one to two sentences and link back to your website (or blog in this case). Anyone who publishes your article has to include your resource box so you get incoming links. If someone with a large newsletter publishes your article you can get a lot of new readers at once.

I have used this technique once and it did bring in a trickle of traffic to this blog for a few weeks before it died of. Experts bloggers suggest to send at lease a couple of articles every week to make sure traffic flow at a steady rate. I notice that articles that are approve to be publish on EzineArticles.com are displayed on the first page. So article that are just recently approve have a chance to bring in traffic from EzineArticles.com.

Don’t just stop there, why not try submit to other article directories. Before submitting any articles, make sure you read the Terms and Condition. You can just bluntly include  your links  in the article and resource  box.  Otherwise  your article might get rejected.
