I’m the proud owner of the new N95 8GB and the first person to buy it here in my local town. (Thats what the shopkeeper told me, and only 2 are available for the first month :D) This is the first cellphone that I brought which cost me more than RM2k, around RM2800 (about USD800~900). Before this I had with me for nearly 7 years, the Nokia 3315, a monotone display with dull ringtones. At that time it was considered high tech with no antennas. Price tag.. RM500 ( now you can get it for RM50).
Well, It was about time I change to a new cellphone since the previous cellphone is outdated even though it’s still functional but I was envious watching people showing off their camera phones, 3g phones, mp3/mp4 and all those stuff. So I said to myself, it’s payback time.
Before buying a new cellphone, I had to search for the “one” that satisfy my taste, sleek and high tech. Thought of getting a Samsung or a Sony-Erricson but I wasn’t familiar with it. Motorola??.. Naah.. Not interested. You can say I’m a die hard fan of Nokia Cellphones. I was hoping to get an N800 or N810, but unfortunately is not available for the Malaysian Market. Besides that, it’s not a cellphone but more to an Internet Tablet PC.
I was aiming for N95 but battery issues change my mind from buying one. Next up my list was the N80 Internet edition, but that was out of stock. Same goes for N93i, also out of stock. How bout 5series or Eseries?… Doesn’t suits my taste. Then I found out that N95 8GB was out.
It’s a complete package. A Cellphone, Mp3/Mp4 player, Digital camera and Video Recorder, Navigator, Internet Browser with WLAN connection. What more can you ask for.
I thought that it will enter the Malaysian market next year, but I was wrong. I was window shopping at a nearby shopping mall. Just wondering around, walking from one lot to another. I was just about to pass a cellphone store when something black in color caught my eyes. I said to myself, it look familiar. So I went near to have a closer look. My heart was pounding as I get closer to the black box displayed inside a glass shelf.
Yataaaaa…!!!! It’s here already, Just after 3 days watching N95 8Gb Smartphone reviews on youtube.
