40 DC Niche Challenge-Day 5: Domain Name and Hosting

40 Day ChallengeThe next step to building a niche site is getting a domain name and web hosting.

Should I or Should not I get a domain name and web hosting. Like I said before, I’m not going to spend a single cent on advertising. But should I spent a few bucks on a domain name and hosting?

Like the Gurus say, “Get Your own domain name, Create a brand…” Well… I’ve decided, not to get one. Let’s go for the extreme. So I’m using Blogger.com to for the soon to be created website. Why Blogger? It’s fast, free, easy to maintain chronological order.

Even though I’m buying a domain name, there are still rules to apply when selecting a name for the niche.

  • Rule #1: Domain name should include primary keywords.
  • Rule #2: Domain name should not contain numbers.
  • Rule #3: Domain name should not contain Abbreviations
  • Rule #4: Domain name should be short as your keyword
  • Rule #5: Domain name should be relevant to the to the website

Because I’m skipping hosting, there’s still important things to apply, and I’m just sharing what I know with you .

  • Rule #1: Bandwith - the more the better.
  • Rule #2: Storage limit - the more the better.
  • Rule #3: Number of domains - the more the better.

Easy as pie.

Oh, Because you are reading this, I hope you can leave a short comment for support so that I can continue this challenge.
