I writing again on this blog after months of silence since I had problems with the hosting provider.

The service provider’s server was attack by hackers and this blog was affected. I nearly lost everthing. But luckily I have made a backup.

During that time, I lost my mood to write. So it took time before I had the mood started to write again. I should have blogged two months earlier, but time was not on my side.

I was busy with offline work.

6 month working at an underwater inspection company. After that, 3months setting up shop.

Yup, I have a restaurant now and it’s been operating a month now.

Now I have the mood to blog again on this blog.

So what am I going to blog?

Last time I was blogging about internet marketing. I’m thinking that I should separate it to another blog so it’s more to business than personal.

I’m also thinking to make this blog more personal. But when I think it over, it is about me blogging about what I do.

So… Maybe I should just keep it the way it is.

I have an announcement to make, I have to pause this challenge for 2 weeks due to a very important event I have to manage.

The reason this blog has not been updated for the 40 days niche challenge is because I been concentrating too much for my first ever ebook that is going to be on cyber shelf this two weeks from now.

I feel very ashame to make this announcement but it’s better than lying to you guys and have no proof that the challenge was a success. I prefer to be the guy that had to admit his mistakes and save the world than being the guy who didn’t step up to admit his fault only to discover that Aliens has already conquer Earth.

By Doing this also, I know that my RSS subscriber count is going too fall.

Recap:

I’ve made a long list of niche ideas

I shorten the list by doing a research using keyword tools

Based on my research, I’ve selected a niche that has traffic and competition,

I’ve selected a domain name and hosting options.

Next step is Content.

The 7days ago, I’ve setup a BLOG (not a web) to to insert content.

Question is, where to find contents? The most easiest way is buy Private Label Contents abut like I said before, again and again, the objective is to build a site, generate traffic make money with out spending any.

I’m doing this the hard-way, so my main content source is article directories. I’m not doing any “Cut and Pasting”. The method I’m using is research, compile and write a new article. This makes the article unique and avoid duplicate content.

I got a secret too tell you. Come closer, not too close to the monitor, you’ll hurt your eyes.

The past 4 days I didn’t do any work for the 40 Day Niche Challenge. I got busy finishing my ebook. Remember my Monthly Plan? I wasted 4 days already and there’s about 27 days left.

The next step to building a niche site is getting a domain name and web hosting.

Should I or Should not I get a domain name and web hosting. Like I said before, I’m not going to spend a single cent on advertising. But should I spent a few bucks on a domain name and hosting?

Like the Gurus say, “Get Your own domain name, Create a brand…” Well… I’ve decided, not to get one. Let’s go for the extreme. So I’m using Blogger.com to for the soon to be created website. Why Blogger? It’s fast, free, easy to maintain chronological order.

Even though I’m buying a domain name, there are still rules to apply when selecting a name for the niche.

Rule #1: Domain name should include primary keywords.

Rule #2: Domain name should not contain numbers.

Rule #3: Domain name should not contain Abbreviations

Rule #4: Domain name should be short as your keyword

Rule #5: Domain name should be relevant to the to the website

Because I’m skipping hosting, there’s still important things to apply, and I’m just sharing what I know with you .

Rule #1: Bandwith - the more the better.

Rule #2: Storage limit - the more the better.

Rule #3: Number of domains - the more the better.

Easy as pie.

Oh, Because you are reading this, I hope you can leave a short comment for support so that I can continue this challenge.

This is a short review about Giveaway Manager 2.

Last month, I was invited as a contributer for the EasterJV 2008 Giveaway event organize by Brad and Guido. 2 guys involve in the making of Giveaway Manager 2.

The event, Easter Jv2008, was held on March 14th until 1st of April 2008. A total of 1,684 confirm contributers (2,287 in total) took part in promoting this event which resulted with 8,556 confirm members ( 13,588 in total) and 559 approved gifts to download.

As a result of this event, I was able to brake my own personal record building a list of email subscribers in just a few days (I’m still a novice list builder). Giveaway events is one of the best way to build a list of subscribers.

Here’s a video about building your list with giveaway events:

Previously, I thought that running a giveaway events needs a lot of planning to do, prepare all the templates and designs, create signup forms, look for JVs and contact them. It sound so time consuming and could take weeks or months to get everything done.

But, did you know EasterJV was manage by just one software, the Giveaway Manager 2. I was really impress on how this incredible software manage the entire process. Everything was done by a push of a button.

Here’s a sneak preview inside Giveaway Manager 2.

Obviously sneak preview isn’t enough to taste is raw power and potential. I’ve got access to the demo software.

You want in?

It’s by invitation only,

so I’m inviting you to try this software.

Here’s your invitation link:

I was thinking of getting Keyword Elite but I found another tool has more features. It uses Wordtracker, Keyword Discovery, and Google as it’s main database for fresh real time data on keywords and search count.

Other than that, they have 11 other useful keyword research tool and my favorite is the LSI tool. I’ll talk about this online tool later.

One more thing, did you know that Overture is dead? I think I’m gonna write an article about this later and distribute it (I already have a title for this report).

Like I said a few sentence above, I’ve canceled out ideas based on keyword research to find the right niche that I’m going to pursue in the next 37 days. There’s a principal behind selecting niches based on my readings from various ebooks and that is:…

Answer: A Niche Keyword.

First,I want to make it clear. I have no experience in niche marketing. This is my first bold step into the vast area of the unknown. My resource is a few good ebooks that I have in possession (accidentally got them from bundle MRR and PLR ebooks), 1 excellent 8 day course authored by Jim Morris and 1report by… I forgot the guy’s name, another good How to ebook. Maybe later I’ll get Rob Benwell Niche Annihilation Method.

So, what’s the first step? After reading Liz Tommey Ebook “30 Days To Niche Success”, it all starts with an Idea. She suggested to spend the whole day, brainstorming an idea that is worth pursuing. Create a list of ideas that come out of the head.

Practically, that’s what I did. I created a long list of ideas, randomly from my head and what I can see around me. Some of the ideas are silly and stupid, but I jot them down. Who knows, it might be profitable.

Among the ideas that pop out of my head are coins, bangles, mugs, picture frame etc… The list goes on and on and on…

This is the 3rd challenge after the “40 Day Blogging Challenge” and “40 Day Traffic Challenge” ( which I failed to complete). You can refer here The 40 Day Challenge I’m challenging myself to complete a task in 40 day. Reason behind this is that I can stay focus on a Job. And lately, I’m unable to stay focus to complete a task.

So, the challenge for the next 40 days is related to Niche Marketing. I will select a niche that I have no knowledge of whatsoever, build a website, bring in traffic and make some cash. At the end of the challenge, I will have a website or websites that have a steady flow of traffic, made at least $100 from affiliate sales, adsense or private advertising. That is the goal.

In addition to that, I’ll make a quick report of my daily activities. This challenge will start tomorrow.
